Dr. Soroudi is one of the most active figures in the world of Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery today. Dr. Soroudi has had years of clinical experience correcting the vision of thousands of patients using really the most advanced techniques and technology available in the world. To date, he has personally performed over 2000 laser refractive procedures (e.g., LASIK), 2000 advanced Cataract Surgeries, 100 intacs procedures to treat Keratoconus, and about 1000 eyelid procedures! These figures do not even take into consideration other laser eye procedures (to treat other eye conditions such as diabetes or glaucoma) which also easily exceed another 2000 patients.
Dr. Soroudi specializes in the management and treatment of complications caused by other surgeons, and a large percentage of his surgical practice consists of treating patients who are unhappy with their previous LASIK, RK, Cataract, and eyelid procedures. He has authored a book on Advanced Refractive Surgery (Cataract, Intacs, and "Custom" LASIK Surgery), and his numerous research findings have been published in the Journal of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the Anals of Plastic Surgery.
